Vegetable broth from scraps

Recipe #2

Vegetable broth from scraps

Boil all of these with lots of water in a massive pot for about half an hour:
various scraps:
stalks of tomatoes
Cob leftovers of corn
Stalks of parsley
seeds and stalk of bell peppers
also can include:
tops of vegetables eg. carrot zucchini radishes
stalks
carrot skin
onion skin
(try to keep organic veggies and wash before use so you're not eating pesticides)

Fresh spices:
Garlic
Ginger
Parsley

Dry spices:
Black cardomom (soup feels like home)
Cinnamon
Lemongrass
Solid peppercorn
Clove
Dry red chilli

Salt
Olive oil

Strain using a big strainer and always have soup ready :) (sorry I didn't post pictures of the mess in the pot before I strained)

Watermelon Feta Salad

I have decided to document my favorite recipes for revisiting them instead of having them disappear into the abyss

Recipe #1

Watermelon Feta Salad

Mix extremely well:

Watermelon (cut small as you have patience)
Feta (chopped and lots of it)
Mint (minced, decent amount)
Red onion (neccessary for taste)
Some stolen salsa from roommate (basically some jalepenos..)

Dressing:
Pepper
Red chilli pepper
Lemon
Balsamic vinegar (little)
Olive oil
Honey

Enjoy in your slip (see below if you can catch me doing this), chilling at home <3
